Yes, by purchasing an entrance ticket. For individual visits, we recommend the following application: https://zsidoorokseg.szegedvaros.hu/

Men are required to wear headgear! This can be a cap, baseball cap, hat, etc. Everyone is required to wear clothing that covers their shoulders, stomach, and knees.

Yes, the building, the garden, and the exhibitions, but not the tour guide and the colleagues who provide the tour guide.

Since the cold weather has set in in the fall, the tour guides have not been in the building. Please call the phone number at the gate and we will let you in! The bathroom is not available during this period! Please check our news for Jewish holidays, as the synagogue is closed on Saturdays and other Jewish holidays!

No. You only need to check in if you are arriving in a group of more than 10 people or if you are requesting a guided tour. In other cases, you do not need to check in, you can arrive at any time during opening hours, the last tickets are issued 15 minutes before closing.

Our colleagues try to respond to incoming letters the same day, however, on days when the synagogue is closed, no one checks the letters (Saturday, Monday, Jewish holidays, working days moved to Saturday).

No, since the religious rules of the Sabbath apply regardless, the synagogue is closed on these Sabbaths as well.
