The special atmosphere of candlelight concerts will rise to a new level on September 14th in the breathtaking interior of the Szeged Synagogue , where the light of hundreds of candles provides the perfect backdrop for the evening's main performers: the La Contessa String Quartet.
The La Contessa String Quartet was founded in 2015 and its members are renowned artists from Budapest symphony orchestras. The ensemble's concerts with a special atmosphere have primarily taken place in castles and palaces, including exclusive events at the Royal Castle of Gödöllő, as well as at the Music at the Castle Festival, which has been held annually since 2021. The string quartet's consistent playing and sophisticated performance style provide the audience with a lasting experience every time.
