Balázs Csupor was born in Kalocsa in 1992. He was introduced to the organ here, listening to Vilmos Leányfalusi, who later became his first organ teacher. He began his piano studies at the age of 6 at the Kalocsa music school, where his teacher was Geri Emese Felnagyné. In 2006, he went
to high school in Pécs, where he studied organ under the guidance of Tibor Köcsky. From 2010, Dr. László Csanádi was the organ teacher at the Faculty of Music of the University of Szeged, where he obtained a performing artist diploma in 2013 and an organ teacher diploma in 2015. He then also graduated from the SZTE-ZMK with a piano performing artist degree, and then a piano teacher degree in 2017. His piano teachers were Dr. Éva Zsigmondné dr. Papp and Dr. Zoltán Zsigmond. He has received two gold and one bronze awards at the biennial Szeged International Organist Meeting. He currently teaches piano and organ at the Ferenc Liszt Elementary Art School in Kalocsa. He enjoys working with lesser-played authors of organ literature.
